Imagine a scenario where you are required as an Information Systems Auditor to conduct an audit of a system that says it is using AI.
This session will cover the approach to auditing a system that uses AI through a series of steps detailing
- How to categorize the solution and do a risk assessment
- Identify the AI components in use and what it does
- A brief overview of AI and its typical components
- Some typical use cases of AI in different domains
- Assessing the impact of AI
- Development and maintenance of AI solutions
This will be an introduction to the topic and can lead to further sessions detailing the different components
About the Speaker: Anantha Sayana
Anantha Sayana has a long and sustained association with ISACA for 30 years. Anantha was one of the founder members of the ISACA Mumbai chapter and also served as its President. Anantha served on the Global CISA Test Enhancement Committee for 3 years and was a contributing editor to the Journal for over 5 years authoring the first edition of the “IT Audit Basics” column.
Anantha has been an Information Systems Auditor since 1992 and then migrated to an IT and Digital Leadership role at Larsen & Toubro Limited. Anantha’s experience as a technology leader gave him ample opportunities to know the latest digital technologies and the related cyber security issues, their impact, and mitigation. He retired as the CDO of L&T recently and enjoys the freedom to pursue his technology interests along with his other creative pursuits in writing, music, and spirituality.
Anantha has spoken at conferences, written articles, and continues to support the profession. Anantha is also the published author of a science fantasy novel and a storybook for children.
