Session Synopsis:
Despite mature frameworks and regulatory guidance, many organizations continue to struggle with siloed ERM, Internal Audit, Compliance, and Third-Party Risk functions, leading to fragmented visibility and limited decision-useful insights.
This practitioner-led session will focus on:
- Why well-designed risk and audit frameworks often fail at the execution layer
- How leading organizations are integrating risk, controls, KRIs, incidents, audits, and action tracking into a single governance narrative
- Practical lessons on what to automate, what should remain judgement-driven, and common pitfalls to avoid
- How Internal Audit and Risk functions can move from periodic assurance to continuous risk intelligence
The session will primarily emphasize knowledge sharing and real-world practitioner insights, with a short, contextual demo toward the end to illustrate how such integrated execution can be practically enabled through technology.
