Speaker Profile

Over close to a decade, Shashank has been working in the IT Audit, Internal Controls Advisory, and Information Security domain serving a plethora of industries including Cloud Service Providers, Financial institutions, Technology Companies, and SAAS Start-ups.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (US-CPA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and an Advanced SOC Certified Professional.

Synopsis of the Talk:

Effectively managing risks that arise from the dependencies within a supply chain is imperative for members of the supply chain ecosystem to thrive.

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) has developed a new supply chain reporting framework to permit suppliers to provide relevant information about their risk management efforts to customers to make their processes more efficient and effective.

System and Organization Controls (SOC) for the supply chain helps build trust in supplier relationships by allowing suppliers to communicate to customers about the processes and controls they have in place to detect, prevent and respond to risks related to the security and availability of their production, manufacturing or distribution processes.
