About the speaker:

Dr. K. Janakiraman is an Organizational Psychology practitioner, AI Risk Thought Leader, Author, and Future Generation Advocate dedicated to helping individuals and organizations navigate the human impact of artificial intelligence. His work focuses on a critical yet often overlooked question:
“As machines become more intelligent, are humans becoming less thoughtful?”
Drawing upon the principles of organizational psychology, behavioral science, digital well-being, and responsible AI, he explores how excessive dependence on artificial intelligence can influence human judgment, critical thinking, decision-making capability, accountability, and cognitive resilience. His research and thought leadership emphasize that the future challenge is not merely technological disruption, but the preservation of human competence in an AI-driven world.
Dr. Janakiraman is a strong advocate of Human-Centric AI, promoting frameworks that balance technological advancement with privacy, ethics, accountability, digital trust, employee well-being, and cognitive sustainability. He is also author of the book “Raising Humans, Not Devices”, which carries a strong foreword from Prof. Dr. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras (Padmasree Awardee).
